The Badminton and Racquet Club of Toronto reopens!

Following a devastating fire in 2017, Shurway returned to the prestigious club to rebuild the facilities which suffered catastrophic fire, water and weather damage. Shurway’s initial role was to assist the club in recovery while rebuilding plans were completed – temporary power, heat and water were installed and the club was able to be up and running for limited activities shortly after the initial fire. During this time, Shurway undertook detailed planning for the complex rebuild of remaining facilities which commenced on site in the Fall of 2017. Through a construction management process of 4 partial/final occupancies, the facilities of the club were sequentially returned for use by the members, culminating in completion of the final phase in September 2018.
