Royal York Hotel – Gold Floors

Shurway is very proud to announce the completion of a major renovation of the historic Royal York Hotel in Toronto. This $22million project saw the conversion of 6 floors of existing rooms into Gold level suites. To accomplish this, 200 existing hotel rooms were converted into 100 new Gold suites. This was achieved by demolishing the existing terracotta tile walls between the suites, providing all new mechanical and electrical services and fitting out the rooms with high quality modern finishes. The new suites are spacious and feature luxury touches for international travelers to Toronto. Also included in the project was the creation of a new Fairmont Gold Lounge. This spacious facility includes floating stone finished fireplaces and provides a quiet space for guests on the Gold Floors to relax, work and eat.
